Larry: They ran several classes. I am not sure what you mean by open track. This was my first trip to a road course and I don't know the jargon. Many of the Miatas that were running didn't have roll bars. Spectators were able to make two slow laps led by a pace car during lunchtime but I was hungry and missed that. I think the Viper was running in the hs? class. There were a few off track incidents but I only got the one of the Porsch. Some were high dollar cars and others were kind of rough. Was a fun day. Thank goodness the wind was blowing and there were some clouds, it was over 90 degrees.
