You didn't mention anything about such an offer, and it's not one I'm
familiar with; our unit only came with an offer of one free update
upon purchase. Have you contacted their customer service? We had to
request our one free map update from them, and they complied without
hesitation. (We bought a refurbished unit, and it seems to be a
common problem that if the "original" owner used their free update,
you don't get yours automatically.)
That seems to be the problem.
I suppose I should just suck it up and pay for the update.
