I had a brown belt exam in Aikido tonight. in short, none of the skilled photographers could take pictures tonight. Beau was also testing, and Tosh had a prior commitment. I put the FA31 on my K-x, set it on Tv and handed it to Brock.
In retrospect, I should have taken a test shot and chimped the histograms. I might have noticed that the EV was set to -2.7. Just because I never use the automatic settings is no excuse for not knowing how to use them. And especially not for failing to check things. I was, admittedly rather preoccupied, and we did sort of run out of time when I was showing him how to use the camera.
