But NVidia's CUDA accelleration typically requires 256MB of dedicated
VRAM, which means a Windows machine or a Macbook Pro. The MacBook only
has shared VRAM (making it a poor choice for any memory-hungry
applications).

While Photoshop CS5 is definitely CUDA-enabled I've seen no indication
that ACR or Lightroom are.
