Not sure what you're talking about, but Macbooks have Nividia graphics cards.

Paul, CUDA is a technology that potentially allows to use one's GPU in order to assist the CPU thereby significantly increasing combined computational power. It is said that the nature of computations that programs such as LightRoom or Photoshop perform lends itself easily to such an enhancement.

As a matter of purely subjective evidence, my brother (IT consultant, etc) indicated to me that I may expect as much as 5-10 *times* faster processing of my images should new LR have CUDA integration.

I hope it sheds some light on this.
