Yes, send it to Pentax. At GFM I was selling my books while seated net to Berrie Smith, the guy doing the sensor cleaning. He was very thorough and careful - pretty interesting experience to watch him at work, really. But he did get a couple of cameras (both Nikons that I saw) with spots that he simply couldn't remove by any means at all.
