This won't go on forever. There's a *ist DL with 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 on eBay and the seller's here in Atlanta. I'm interested because the camera is small, the cost is low, and the cool low light image that started the "Praying at St. Michaels" thread was made with a *ist Ds. Also because I'm just getting my feet wet again in photography and am not sure how much time, money, etc., I'm going to end up investing in it. My questions: What's the difference between a *1st Ds and a *1st DL? Might this be a reasonable investment for me given my circumstances and needs? What would a reasonable price for this machine? [I've asked the buyer if he has a "buy now" price. In response he's asking what my range would be.] Again, I promise this won't go on forever.
