I'm fine on the lack of automation, just trying to save swapping mounts about. I did look at getting a M42 to K mount for each lens, but there is a huge difference in price between the genuine Pentax article and copies - a look on eBay earlier found the genuine item on sale for the better part of £50 from a dealer and £5 copies. Even getting a copy often doubles what I've paid for an M42 thread lens, so it is a serious matter...
