Thanks for the report.
The felled trees are a source of amazement.
You missed the link to Dickens, but I found it by scrounging around.
Is that a street performer standing at his statue?

We had big storms here Wens. afternoon.
We were fine, but suburbs west and east of us suffered damage.
#1 son Bill was without electricity for 27 hours because of downed trees.
And Oak Brook lost many trees and some office roofs.
I found the Dr's office closed Thursday without power.
It was a big blow like yours.
