G'day all I couldn't afford one when they were new. I'm not even sure I can really justify one now. Actually, I'm damn sure I can't justify one now.
However, logic rarely enters into these sorts of decisions so I'm now the proud owner of my own LX. One temporary worry was the fact that the mirror locked up when I tried out the slower speeds without any batteries installed. However, breaking with habit and actually referring to the manual I find that, without batteries, the shutter only works from X to 1/4000sec. So that's a relief. Now, do I have any film still stashed away in the freezer?
