It looks in good nick and appears to be free of the sticky mirror fault
that I've read about.  One temporary worry was the fact that the mirror
locked up when I tried out the slower speeds without any batteries
installed.  However, breaking with habit and actually referring to the
manual I find that, without batteries, the shutter only works from X to
1/4000sec.  So that's a relief.

Now, do I have any film still stashed away in the freezer?
