I've found a good deal on Lightroom 3 through an academic software
distributer. I qualify to buy at an academic price because I'm a full
time student in a 2 year degree course.
There are two versions available:
Education - CD with serial number in the package
Student - CD without serial number that has to be activated through a
special Adobe web-site.
For the price difference, I'm going with the Education version so I can
just go ahead and install it.
But, someone raised a question about whether it can be upgraded when a
newer version comes along.
I think the "Student" version that has to be activated through Adobe
might not be able to be upgraded, but does anyone know about the
"Education" version that has a serial number?
