I was slightly wrong - it was the Pontiac GTO.
The four door family sedan , the Holden Commodore, that the two door coupes
are based on, is a front engined rear wheel drive car with V6 or V8 motors.

Phil, do I understand that a Monero is the Aussie version of a Pontiac
Grand Prix? If so, the mechanics can't be the same, as the Pontiac is
a FWD car, and clearly from the smoking rear tires, the Monero is RWD.
Or is it tricked out for drifting?
