Definitely. What Adam said. Some look unreal and almost painted with
off the map colors. Closer to the "Urban Acid" effect (has that fad
worn off yet?) really in my perception. But others are good work. I've
always understood HDR as being intended to compensate dynamic range
shortcomings of sensors. There is a line between photoshop art and
photography. Brian is overstepping that line. It is only fair to judge
his work on its own merits and it is well executed, just not my taste
nor my understanding of photography. Whenever I tried to deliberately
overprocess an image, I ended up feeling uncomfortable with the
result.
