Couldn't agree more.

In my view one of the biggest advantages of digital photography is the
ability to blend several exposures fairly easily to extend the dynamic
range in a scene while still retaining a 'naturalness' to the resultant
image. 

Having said that, I can appreciate Brian's work.  The images have a
graphic illustration appearance that looks unreal in many cases but I
found them enjoyable - especially:
