Here's a good "reality test" for those who worry about dust in a lens.

Take a Post-It. Cut out a small section where the adhesive is...oh. I dunno,
maybe an eighth to a quarter inches in diameter. About the size of a
"petite" pea.

Stick it right in the middle of the lens.

Focus at a normal middle distance and look through the viewfinder.

Surprised?

Something that big _will_ cause a very slight reduction of contrast. But
you'd be hard-pressed to see it in a print. And the film won't see it any
better than you do.

So much for a dust mote.
