My cursory inspection revealed no obvious flaws, the aperture is nice and quick and the focus helicoid is very smooth. There is a fair amount of mechanical noise from the aperture mechanism, but I recall this being fairly normal for Vivitar lenses. It does need a bit of a cleaning.
