Yesterday I downloaded the latest firmware upgrade for my new [used]

DS2, as I recalled someone here saying that the firmware upgrade
made the DS the equivalent of the DS 2 -- or something like that.
Anyway, I found the manual, placed the order, and was getting ready
to whip out my credit card when I noticed a statement to the effect
that they would *bill me* after the manual shipped. I didn't know
*anybody* did that anymore.
If more businesses followed that pattern of trust, people would trust
businesses more. Those days are gone with the kids walking to and from
school by themselves and the familiar, in my family anyways, "I'm
going out to play." "Ok, be back when the streetlights turn on."
Plus two quotes from my mother's mouth I'll never forget. "If you want
to know what chocolate covered ants taste like, eat a few ants and
think about chocolate." I did. They're bitter. — and — "If you want
to know what a hurricane feels like, put on your slicker and go
outside." I did. It was fun! Sorta like ski jumping but standing still.
