You are right, Bob, the fact that nobody does something of that kind is the
reason why nobody seems to be aware of the issue...
I switched to the 14Mp jpegs as soon as I saw the problem, but I simply don't
need such large files and the little gain in resolution for most of my
shooting.
When I reaaly need that I use RAW, as I do when i'm working most of the time.
