It's interesting that you specifically picked out "Wheel of Light". 
That was one I'd just about given up on.  It was originally a slide but
the scan was very ordinary to say the least.  I came across it again
when I was putting the gallery together and decided to give it one last
try by darkening the background and trying to restore the vibrancy of
the colour in the original.  It worked much better than I'd hoped or
expected.

A Field Guide?  No, not really although a lot of my images are used on
an Australian Plants website.  Not exactly a field guide - unless you
have a wireless enabled Netbook or iPad.  :=)>
