The last one isn't "digital" manip, or so it looks to me... but
studio stuff never interests me much...
I actually like the first one - rather references Cubist painting
and abstract expresionism- Hate the copper pennies one
They mention one more person and don't show the work... hmmmm..
I don't object to elaborate manipulation of photos when the photos
are used as color and brush to this extent. It is rather
like collage work, too.
But here is an example of digital photography with manipulation that
really creeps me out.

Nixon's work creeps me out as well, but I guess that's the intent. Is
it akin to being frightened on a roller coaster or eating a habanero
pepper? I'm not sure.
