Nixon's work creeps me out as well, but I guess that's the intent. Is
it akin to being frightened on a roller coaster or eating a habanero
pepper? I'm not sure.

Neither for me. It's more the feeling I have upon discovering I'd stepped in what the dog left behind AFTER I've already tracked it across the carpet.
