No, hardly anyone is going to post what they *think* are crappy pictures, 
plenty of people *do* post crappy pictures.

This resonates with something I've been thinking of a lot lately.  I just 
printed out a batch of photos from burning man. About half of them were taken 
with the Argus and I alternatively note just how crappy the lens on it is, and 
marvel that a lot of the photos that I took with it are just as good as the 
ones as I took with the K20 and 16-50.

Likewise, I've been a little bit disappointed in the image quality of the 
photos that I took with the Rollei, but I think that a lot of that is just not 
knowing how  to work to its strengths. I also need to get some of these photos 
printed directly from negatives and see how much difference that makes.
