B etter high iso noise and autofocus than theK-7, along with higher resolution. 
Much better autofocus and exposure control than the Kx, along with much higher 
resolution, weatherproofing, and better build quality. That's a fast and dirty 
summary that is somewhat incomplete but hits most of the important points.
