Maybe not, but it works fine for me. I like to keep my raw files organized by year/month/shoot and named by subject, though I tend to keep working directories under the year. For example Processed and filed: 2010/1009/100907_burningman/blissdance Recently shot, not yet processed: 2010/101003/black_belt_tests/101002_nathan_shodan This way, if things, at some point, go pear shaped with lightroom, I can fairly easily find the directories that I'm looking for with standard file system search. Or, alternatively, if I want to process them with Bibble, or some other program, the files are in some logical structure. I have a very similar structure on my linux box, where I have my second copy of raw files. > > -- > PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List > [email protected] > http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net > to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow > the directions. -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
