This got buried in a longer response. I thought I'd lift it up in case anyone had any recommendations. Both the Albinar and the Vivitar say they're "automatic." I had hopes that would be auto aperture. No such luck. And if what I see in the viewfinder is any indication of what would get captured by the sensor, the Vivitar is definitely not sharp.
