This can be used to advantage. I've known freelance stills photogs throw
a red herring by getting a mate with a camera to suddenly break free
from the pack and run like hell down the street away from the waiting
herd (say outside of court, or waiting for a celeb to emerge from a
building) - and at least half of the herd follow thinking the runner has
seen something they haven't. Means you have less competition if you can
time it right as half of them are full pelt in the wrong direction as
you grab a few frames between building and taxi.
