A smoking gun can make a career. It's a MEH photograph, but it's an argument for not throwing anything away. When the Clinton/Lewinsky story broke, the photographer, who had dismissed the shot as not particularly interesting went back through his negatives, and got quite a bit of additional press. (Damn, this is so full of possible innuendo, oh well, I'll leave it up to the readers to enjoy themselves).

Now I wouldn't expect something like this to happen at a local presser, but these are politicians we're talking about here, so you never know.
