I think Rick's comments are onto something.
There is too much geometry for me.
Crop off the awning piping at the bottom,
or the mechanicals and sky of the top and it looks better.
As is, the picture seems to have three parts,
awning piping/hangers,
stucco wall with sloping drain pipe,
and roof mechanical structure with sky.
I can't get them to mesh...
