Chase Bank in New York wanted to charge a teller fee, as opposed to an ATM fee at one time.

Hey, I got out from under a VISA debt one time that way. I walked into the Bank of Nova Scotia to make a payment and the teller refused to accept it because I didn't bank at that branch. I actually didn't bank at all with ScotiaBank. At that time, under Canadian banking laws, that was that. I tried to pay, they said no, that's fine. And they had to write off the balance.
