Dear Igor,

Besides being a Pentax guy as a photography hobbyist, I am also a musician. I have been a professional musician and educator most of my life. I play most of the woodwinds, the clarinet, flute, saxophone and bassoon.

My musical interests are in both the classical side of things and in jazz. For a very long time I've been a fan of the music of Astor Piazzolla. Though I consider the tango to be maybe the world's sexiest dance, I am, however, NOT a dancer.

If I ever get to Austin, I'd love to go hear this Austin Piazzolla Quintet. What a wonderful way to spend an evening and have a beer or two.

I'm sure you're having a blast with this musical association and the people involved.

Yours truly,
Richard Bush

Hi All,

I thought, I'd share this with you.

I've been invited to present a workshop-slideshow "Dancers and Photographs".
This workshop is a result of the last 4+ years of me taking photographs
at various dance events (various flavors of swing dances, blues and
argentine tango), my own research, experimentation (and dance classes),
as well as discussions with professional dance instructors and
dance competition judges.

Here is the flyer with a short and long descriptions:

At this point, I have two presenations scheduled in Austin:
1. Next weekend, before a milonga (tango party) with live performance
by a very nice tango band - Austin Piazzolla Quintet

2. Next month, at a large Lindy-Hop festival - Austin Lindy Exchange
http://www.austinlindyexchange.org/excursions.php
(followed by the dance & live music by nice Austin Jazz
musicians Ryan Gould and His Big Big Band)

Cheers,

Igor
