Pop photo and Shutterbug seem to be the most neutral stance on equipment, they actually acknowledge that Pentax and Olympus exist. Most other Photo magazines catering to equipment seem to cater mostly to the Canikon crowd with an occasional nod to Sony, well those that don't seem to be exclusively Canon oriented.

I'm thinking of subscribing to a magazine again. I look at Popphoto
and Shutterbug because I can find them in stores. I want a magazine
that emphasizes equipment and techniques and not so much a book of
pictures (that's why I have you guys). Any suggestions?
