my reason for cropping is ship is too close to edge of the frame.
If you still want ship, cut and paste same ship about 5 ship
lengths closer to the center of the photo. That would in
effect make the photo appear to have been taken earlier
in time.

I disagree, I love the little bits like the ship, the tree and the birds.
There's a whole bunch of static scene, and this lovely little strip of
tension towards the top. That's what I love about this photo.
