This one-touch is one of the best non-pro zooms that Pentax made; at just
615 g, it's more handholdable than the 28-135/4 PKA (820 g), though not as
light as the 35-135/3.5-4.5 PKA (about 450 g).

Steve Scott has written: "I find it excellent in contrast and sharpness.
I've barely used my SMC-A 70-210/4 macro because I like my SMC 45-125 so
much." Another PDMLer wrote: "The ultimate "Super-Portrait" Pentax lens is
the 45-125 F4 Zoom. I have it in BOTH screwmount and K mount. Excellent
performance. But, they are somewhat rare especially the screwmount version."

I've tracked three prices since 1999, ranging from $150 (8+ condition) to
$240. Go for it.
