SB> If someone can show me another Med Format camera that handles close to a SB> 35mm, and which is very quiet, I'd be happy to look at it. But over the SB> past year or so I think I've exhausted all the possibilities.
Hi Shel, 1) Mamiya 6 (square M7) 2) Mamiya press 23, super 23,... (rollfilm backs from 6x6,6x7 to 6x9, coupled rangefinder, no interlocks, so more manual than newer cameras), lenses from excellent 50/6.3 to 180/250 (?), nice rangefinder with brightlines and paralax correction, although somewhat clumsy changing of masks for different formats. Leaf shutter on all lenses. Big plus - CHEAP! About 1/5 price of Mamiya 7 new (even from R.W.) or even less. Good light, Frantisek Vlcek - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
