     I also looked at the Mamiya 7 II and loved it.  I decided against the 
Mamiya because it didn't have lenses in some of the focal lengths I wanted, 
it's slow lens speed, and it's slow top shutter speed.  
     But if you're going to use the camera primarily tripod mounted the 
Mamiya is hard to beat!!!  The camera is a dream to handle.  And image 
sharpness is exceptional.
     I finally settled on the Contax 645 because of lens selection, lens 
speed, 1:4000 shutter speed, and interchangeable backs!  But I really do love 
the Mamiya!
