In the past IIRC the past part of gallery was set aside for non themed
submissions.
I don't think that Scott stopped accepting those submissions but I don't
think that JAlbum supports a way to segregate a second sub-album on the
same page.
I guess I have two questions, are we now not going to accept non-themed
submissions or are we just going to continue on as before with the
themed and non themed photos mixed together? Not that I remember the
last time a non-themed photo was submitted mind you, and I phrased that
as one question didn't I. Oh well...

G'day all
As you may be aware, Scott has decided to step down as PUGmeister and
I've agreed to try to fill his shoes. May be a forlorn task, but we'll
see...
Just to clarify what the PUG is all about for those new to the list:
The PUG is this list's monthly themed photo gallery - it has nothing to
do with the 'Pentax Photo Gallery' run by Pentax USA. Basically, list
members submit an image based on the monthly theme, the images are
compiled into a gallery and each month the gallery is uploaded for the
enjoyment of all. The galleries are archived permanently and you can go
back as far as 1998 to enjoy the images submitted in the past.
The PUG is hosted on the Komkon server, facilitated by PDMLer Igor
Roshchin, for which we are extremely grateful.
There probably wont be too many obvious changes to the way the PUG
operates. Igor has installed the scripting software for the Submission
Form on Komkon, so there will be a new location for that form but, like
Scott, I'll be compiling the galleries using JAlbum, so they will look
much the same as in the past.
I'll post further details and themes for 2011 in a few days.
Cheers
Brian
