I have very mixed feelings about mine. Manual focus on it is nearly useless. Especially in low light. As such it has proven much less useful than hoped for low light dance photography. But I may revise my opinion once I have a K5. I've been surprised at how often a wide macro comes in handy. It may not be the sharpest wide open but there are uundoubtably cases where it's sharper at 1/40 second than my 16-50 is at 1/15.
