Christine, I am thinking that you're not doing yourself justice here. The
two last shots are excellent whereas the very last one is simply
outstanding. You can easily print it big and hang it on the wall.
As for the rendering that you said you did not quite like. I noticed two
things (I may be wrong on both counts though):
1. You seem to have applied negative clarity in LR or whatever is the
corresponding editing action if you used another program.
2. The vignetting is not necessarily a good idea IMHO. It is because when
you have so many branches there is a strong geometry in the shot and the
vignetting by adding its own geometry (by forcing your eye into the
(middle of the) shot) may contradict that of the branches.
I hope I am making sense here. But the series are good and these two last
pictures with the kids in the snow - you nailed it.
