Well, the truth is I'm in a funk with my people photography. I feel like
I'm just taking the same picture over and over again. The faces are
different, the genders vary--but I keep seeing the same picture. My own
work is boring ME! I do have some plans of strategy to challenge myself,
learn some new skills, so that's good; it's not a hopeless situtation.
It helps me sometimes to shoot landscape; it quiets me, forcing me to
contemplate composition, light, patterns, colors; I find it a great genre to
get back to the fundamentals. The photowalk stuff helps too.
Well, I hope you get back to Chicago--and do call if you can.
