Yes. I've shot numerous events in low light with the k20d, K10d, and K7. I've 
also shot about 1500 frames now with the K5, all with SDM lenses. All of the 
SDM lenses. The K5 locks on focus much more readily in low light than the 
others-- the k7 is second best. It's no contest .
