Hi Listers everywhere, As Malcolm has kindly posted recently, he and I will be getting our heads together over the coming days, and hatching a cunning plot for a POSSIBLE gathering here in the green and pleasant land that is England. Two heads are definitely better than one for this!
Having said that I don't have enough time to handle it all, Malcolm has courageously volunteered to co-organise something, size and duration unknown. The fact that so many people have expressed an interest with the sketchiest of information shows that there is certainly good scope for a PDML UK 2002 meet, and is very heartening, especially with those wishing to attend from abroad. I have got 5 glorious days off from tomorrow, so I can do a bit of research, and Malcolm and I can confer and hopefully put something more concrete together. At that point, we'll probably open an official list of PDMLers wanting to attend. Bear in mind it won't be anything as grandiose as old Grandfather Mountain. We see it as much more recreational, and family-orientated. A chance for like minds to be kept happy chatting and shooting, with plenty for partner and children to do also. Give us a while and we'll come up with something half-way decent. If we're happy with what we've come up with, we'll announce it formally, with a hard date, possibly for sometime this coming summer.
