I'm curious about this.
Bill, I don't use flash that often. When I do, I have two modes... 1) a set-up shot at home and I'll use an AF280T or two, sometimes remote from the camera (on a wire). 2) a grab shot at a family event within a home. The AF200T is particularly useful here as it is so small and compact to carry, but gives full TTL flash. I was disappointed early by the tilt and swivel stuff on the AF280T. I lost so much light trying to bounce it off the ceiling that I couldn't light the room properly (for Kodachrome 64). If I take the PZ-1 along to the family gathering, I'll take the AF500T and have used it to bounce off the ceiling (with ASA 200 film). However, the AF500T on the offset PZ-1 flash shoe does a pretty good job of eliminating red-eye and the pictures are OK if with minimum modeling from the light. Usually I'll try to get by without a flash on the camera, just faster film and f2.0 or better lenses. Regards, Bob S. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
