Unless they can make money on the Kr for the price of the Kx, they should. The Kx is an amazing camera for the price. Hell, it's pretty amazing all the way around. IMNSHO Pentax should sell as many as they can, for as little as they can, just to bring people into the fold. The Kr costs a bit more, and you pay a premium for the features, but it's still a good deal and it addresses the major shortcomings of the Kx (focus points and feel).
