3 price levels? That's ok as long as
something like the K7 falls down into
the budget-entry level eventually.

IMO it is extremely unlikely. Kr is obviously an upgrade of Kx, 
therefore it would have to be purely marketing decision to keep both. I 
don't think Pentax has the capacity to /keep/ producing three 16x24 
frame cameras and 645D at the same time.
