There's no need to do anything, Dave.

- The 'Airport Utility' application is a standard part of what is
installed on every Mac OS X system in the Applications/Utilities
folder.
- The existing network is maintained by your Airport Express. The
Airport Utility application allows you to modify and/or configure it
differently.

All you'll need to do is connect to the existing wireless network by
typing in your password (assuming you have it password protected). You
only need to run the Airport Utility software if you need to
reconfigure it for some reason (like you have the Airport set for MAC
address filtering and need to install the new hardware MAC address).
If you do, it would be best to obtain the MAC address from the box
your new system comes in and set that up before booting up your new
computer.

Once your new computer is up and running, run the Software Update
utility in the System Preferences and it will tell you if there is an
Airport Utility application update. Run the Airport Utility
application after that to determine whether your Airport Express is
running the latest firmware, and update it if it needs to be.
