Neato! You know my grand-dad was a horse trainer, rancher and all around
cowboy. 100 years ago, on a Saturday, I decided to call him since I
hadn't talked to him in a while.

Wouldn't you know I called him at the exact
minute the Kentucky Derby was about to start. "God damn, Christine," he
said. "The Derby's about to start. I'll call you back," and he hung up
on me. I'd forgotten about the Derby. Of all the moments to call him.

We have polo matches, for charity and otherwise, and the crowds are
smaller but more affluent. At the steeplechase races, however, one
sees quite a bit of silver, crystal and fine wine. We were in the
beer and chicken wings section. <G>
