I think that the wider view to the right would have benefited the
picture, Frank.
Sweet memories you have. I have few of my own and they are especially
sweet nowadays when we as parents create similar memories for our girls.
Anat turned 2 today. She chose herself a trunk full of small vehicles
for the gift. Galia and her had a blast yesterday and on Friday playing
with the new toy. Which makes me a rather bad dad, as I did not
photograph it. /sigh/

When I was a kid growing up in Montreal, my Dad brought me downtown
every Christmas season. At the time there were no less than four
grand department stores all within a few blocks, each with a wonderful
animated Christmas window for the kids (of all ages, as they say).
Walking along Ste. Catherine's Street with Dad on cold snowy winter
evenings to see all the windows and go to all the toy departments,
then to the Chicken Chalet for BBQ chicken and hot chocolate: those
are memories I'll always have with me this time of year.
I know there are only one or two of the big stores left in Montreal.
Here in Toronto, there is one of the old stores left downtown, The
Bay. They still have their Christmas window, and it's enjoyed by
young and old alike:

Hope you enjoy, and hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas!!
