Nice.  Very spectacular birds.  I'm trying to gauge how big they  are -
I'd previously thought that Cardinals might be about sparrow sized  but
this one looks a bit bigger than that.

Cardinals _are _ bigger than sparrows... but considerably smaller than, say, Cormorants :-)
