Oh the horror ... to use a lens for something other than a pigeon-holed purpose written in stone by the photography God's of 1940's studio portraiture - the horror! (Any thought as to why I might be showing the DA70 on FF ... as opposed to, oh, the FA50 on FF?) Just a heads up guys: when I present a series of shots, or a gallery, or talk about a lens - I'm not insulting your gear, telling you that you 'have' to like what I'm posting, or asking you to tell me how a lens 'should' be used. The shots are meant to demonstrate the utility of the DA70 on 35mm.
"I would be very curious to see the comparison of these shots with those made on APS-C DSLR with 50 mm lens at the same time on the same location. In particular I cannot help but notice that only 2 out of 11 shots are portraits. Obviously any lens can be used for many purposes, but this strikes me as curious - you've been using an allegedly portrait lens for common photography, so to say.
